I'd be interested to know as well. Have you seen Five Days at Fraser from Nomad?

I have 5 days at Fraser. I liked it, but its very homemade. They mention somewhere it is so at least you are forewarned. Not as slick as some DVDs but hopefully the next one will have even more action .

I liked it - Eddie Kazono (I'm not sure how to spell his surname) is my hero because I use him as an example to all my friends who reckon GT fishing is too tough. If Eddie can catch a GT, I reckon anyone can!! I love the bit when he said he was foaming at the mouth.

I quite like the homemade aspect of it as it makes it look more realistic

Most tackle shops have The Fraser DVD....Ive seen a heap more on one of the Japanese sites, just not sure how good they are. All you can go on by is the cover.

Andrew - the Japanese popping DVDs are fantastic in terms of the action. If you have a VHS player, I can loan you a couple.

Okubo's Legend 5 is awesome.
Location of the shooting is mainly in Komodo Islands, Indonesia and I think also in Tokara.
For Komodo's scene, its 1 of the field test trip Okubo did for Hammerhead Poppers, greatly enjoyable if you don't mind the use of the same brand of poppers repeatedly.

1. Jigging in Chuuk (Sevenseas)
2. Northern Marianas Challenge (Sevenseas)
3. Suzuki Fumio's Ogasawara Amberjacks (Fisherman)
4. Jigging in Taiwan (AG)- aka 3 men in a tackle shop/68kg Taiwan doggie
5. Legend 1 and 5 (Okubo/Smith)

Jigging in Chuuk is a real cult classic...imho a much better production than the Northern Marianas Challenge where Matsutani lands his 104kg doggie...the latter bit reminiscent of a home video :)

Think a blend of Japanese and Taiwanese jigging videos is good if you'd like to get an overview of spinning and overhead jigging techniques.
