Wow everyone is getting aftermarket spools, but that certainly is a different take on it.  Still can't help but think its better to have a fresh spool AND DRAG available on a swap-in basis though.

That looks very interesting.  I cannot get sound on the video so not sure about the sizes?  I would imagine though that with this innovation, Nature Boys are seeking to exploit that glaring hole in the Shimano market - i.e between 12000 and 18000 - in the same way that the SOM NL 16000 does.

I think it is very surprising that Shimano have not addressed this themselves, but put effort into creating a Yumeya 12000 spool when they already had an excellent Twinpower 12000 spool that fits the Stellas.

I can see one flaw - doesn't seem to be an obvious "key" to stop the spool rotating on the carrier? heck who needs drag anyways!

Interesting design there did seem to be four holes in the bottom carrier and four corresponding keys in the removable spool
