Recommendations / tips for lighter lures
Paul de Bruijn:
Hi there, as I am currently preparing for a trip next April and having my heavier lures pretty much sorted out, I was wondering if someone can recommend on lighter lures, say 60-120 grams...they don't have to be popper lures, may be stickbaits, or other types.
As I'm not experienced at all, throwing heavy poppers all day will probably kill me ;-)
So, I'm looking for some additional lighter lures which won't cost a fortune. Living in Holland I have to order them abroad with additional costs and duties.
Thanks a lot for the tips!
Mark Harris:
Hi Paul
There are some very effective non-premium priced lighter lures around. Just a few ideas:
For poppers check out:
Heru Cubera in the lighter sizes: 125, 100 and 80 grams
Halco Roostas in various sizes down to really small ones
Adhek Mini Gecko 120 gr and Baby Gecko 50 gr
Orion MagicPop 120 gr and 80 gr
For stickbaits there are a huge number of lighter options. I like the Shimano Ocea Pencils both floating and sinking versions which are reasonably priced. Same goes for Tailwalk Gunz.
Good luck.

Hi Paul
Send Eric a mail his Orion lures are top lures or try Seawoodtackle.
Both in europe so you save on shipping and you dont have to pay duties
Paul de Bruijn:
@Mark: thanks for your response. I will take a look at the Ocea Pencils. I already have some lighter Cuberas and Adhek lures. Plus: 5 more Adhek lures on it's way from Bali as we speak.
@Michael: looks like Seawoodtackle has some good options, thanks.
I will also look at the lighter lures form Eric...
Thanks!

Try the Heru/Nomad/BlackJack (they are marketed under different names) Tuna 80 and Tuna 100. These are excellent lures, easy to cast and deliver a generous pop for their cup size, cought plenty of GTs on these!
From the same stable, check out the 90 and 120 gram skipjacks, a smaller cup again (easy to work and cast) but a surprising amount of pop for their size.
