Hello Brandon,
I allways wundering how people decide when a rod is to strong for them or you.
For example when you read the reports from Oman you see that they allways use heavy rods for the GT,s
But i don,t believe that all the fisherman that go over there are heavy bodybuilders.
So how do you decide that a rod is to strong for you?
Best regards,
Arnout.

;D ;D ;D I heard of a fisherman who is built like a bodybuilder who went there and ended up passing his rod around on a big fish ;D ;D ;D

Now, now Kasey - let's wait and see what happens to you! ;D
Arnout, I haven't noticed any of the guys going to Oman with the real heavy artillery at all. Which rods are you referring to?

Arnout Weber:
Hello Brandon,
Race point 300 - carpenter Monster hunter - hots xxxl. i think all around PE 10.
If you ask me quiet heavy rods. Not PE 12 but when you ask me strong rods.
I don,t know how hard the poppers they use are to use. But a few weeks a go i bought
a Ripple fisher Infinity Light PE 8 and made some test casts in a local pont with a Patriott design Masterbomb 150 gr
and had the idea that i could work it really well. So than i think what do you really need and what can you handle.
The thing is that i would like to buy a extra rod like a Ripple Fisher 79 GT reversal. Or when i need a extra Jiggingrod
a 5215 or 5220. Depending the destination where i will go to.
Best regards,
Arnout.
