That JM spool says 25-45kg drag. Sounds "adequate"  ;)

Not sure if I believe that claim, but I have a mental image of giving that reel to the missus with the drag cranked right up... With out telling her of course. She weighs about 50kg. She'd get whiplash on the way out of the boat. Bahaha  ;D

When I hear hoof beats.  I think "Zebra's" :)

Drag level at 25~45 kg can cause damage to the reel , it happened while @ SFPC Fishing festival in Tokyo last month when one of the leading captain of a charter boat in Japan tried the Mogi's drag machine , the reel suffered broken bail-arm when subjected to 25 kg drag .

In the same vain:
Having taken notice of the advise given on a different thread I'v decide to buy a 16000 spare spool for my sw twinpower 12000hg in order to use PE8 braid.
Can't find a supplier in the UK to buy from.
Question which make and where from.

Just buy JM 16000 spool. I am very impressing from carbon tex disk drag: 7 in total whit 2 bigger in the bottom position (like shimano twin drag, available only for 18000-20000 models). For me construction quality is good and quality/price is very good. I think I'll going to try 25000 models. Yumena max spool is too much expansive for me...
