Any review on this 2 rods? Will be matching it with SW6000HG load with PE3. Will be casting 40g Pintail and 50-80g stickbait. Will be bringing to Oman for inshore light casting.

Thanks

Hi James ,

I used to have MC Works CR733 but sold it after one trip , at the same time I have used BC75MLR belonging to my friends numerous time , these two rods have completely different actions , the MC Works is very soft actioned while the Carpenter has stiffer action , myself prefer the Carpenter perhaps due to my long associations with Carpenter rods and their unique actions .

Myself have settled with BC69MR ( PE3 ) and BC69MHR-SHP ( PE4 ) for my inshore / estuary fishing , the shorter rods are better suited for measured cast onto the banks of the rivers while the longer BC75MLR would be better for long distance cast onto the inshore reefs .

Hope this help .

Jon .

Hi James ,

I have no experience in MC Works Dazzler model , after trying that CR733 n SM887 , I find my preference is for Carpenter casting rods and shared by many others so we stopped bringing in MC Works casting rod and concentrating in bringing in the jigging rods only .
