Will give a update,
The fish today are up and feeding at the back of the boats they are averaging 60kgs with larger fish thrown in a  130 was landed today with quite a lot of 80+ fish thrown in.
They are scattered between the 150 33 line and the 150 55 and pretty well due east of the harbour.
The weather will hold untill thursday and hopfully blow out by saturday.
If you want to have a serious crack at them this week would be choice
I will be fishing the saturday and be able to report then

Those longtails fight well on 4-6kg.
My best went 22kg of Illuka back in 04

Yeah got some nice longtails off Rotto, but the SBT record is below 11kg =(

Spoke to several anglers down there this arvo that where out today,as I was considering going down tonight to fish to Moro,about 10% of boats caught fish,plenty zeros all round.

The old addage 10% of the anglers catch 90% of the fish.

There might of been 200 odd boats out and about 5 patches of fish found. If you are on the radio the other boats will call you in.
You will ussually find the fish on 1 side of a decent temp break .5 of a degree cant tell you wich side as it has been different the last 5 trips.

The longliners  have come across them again but very wide just within the 151 line.
