OK my choice of gear has now settled down and will be coming with me to southern Oman in October:

Rods: Hot's GT77XH and Hot's Rompin 70MH
Reels: Stella 18000SW and 8000SW
Line: Sasame PE8 and PE4

My combo are:

Ripple Fisher FS79H with stella 18000SW/Saltiga Expedition only for big poppers
Fisherman GT game TRS with stella 18000SW for all day popping
Ripple Fisher Ultimo 79MH with stella10000SW & JM 16000 monster spool (or new Catalina 5000H) for stick baits...
