I have heard that HPA pliers are also good. Have not tried the, though.

If using owner st-66 5/0 with #9 splitring, i use Daiwa 110H plier. Bigger hooks + > #10 splitrings, i prefer Owner GP60. Drawback, both pliers are cannot cut PE line "cleanly".

Duel GT is a nice pair of pliers.I've never had a rusting problem with them .Also they have a totally different opening method which can prevent "over opening" some types of split rings like Varivas which then won't close again properly.The split ring is opened in a Jaw.Will open Owner 11h ok.In saying that I keep a pair of GP60's around as a spare as there's nothing worse than loosing a pair and not having a spare.
Black Magic Large will also open 11h's. Wellsys in Brisbane used to stock the Duels, not sure if they still do as they are not in their 2013 Catalogue!!!
