Guys...

I am very interested in a week out with nomad to one of there destinations, any recommendations on where to go, and what do you think I would expect to pay for one of these trips?

The $5,500 covers the floatplane return from Hamilton Island to the Odyssey which will be at Shoalwater Bay, It covers the fishing every day, the accommodation, food, beer from the tap etc. If you bring your own equipment, obviously no issue there but If you choose to use the equipment provided by Nomad, there is no charge per se but you have to pay for everything you lose. They offer a kit for the various locations which is about $300 (I think) which covers some lures, terminals etc).

IF you want wine or premium beers, they are an additional charge but are not unreasonably priced.

You have to pay for the trip to and from Hamilton from whereever you are (eg Sydney). You also have to cover the cost of you own accommodation on Hamilton which is the night before and generally the night of the return. I always recommend (very, very strongly) that people arrive the day before - don't take chances with Jetstar or Virgin getting you on the same day. If the plane is delayed, you're doomed - plain and simple.

The fishing comprises generally six days - five full days and two half days but it does depend on the floatplane times which is dependent on the tide. If the times work in your favour, you get a bit more than six days, if it doesn't you can end up with five and a bit.
If it swims; I want to catch it!
