A reminder to all bidders (and potential last minute sharks  ;D ) on our Adhek Bali lure auction that its ends this Thursday -
bidding will close at midday Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time on the 14th of February. Highest bidder for each auction item will then be requested to pay that amount plus agreed postage into our teams account with Oxfam. Good luck and the support is much appreciated!!

A quick note to say that the boys have just this minute completed the 100 km walk in a very creditable 28 hours and 34 mins.  Superb effort guys and really well done.

I am sure John or Andrew will confirm the amount of the money they have raised but I know it is well into 5 figures, and several members of this forum contributed to that amazing effort.

A huge thank you to GTPopping.com and all the members here for taking the time to read our posts and support our fundraising for Oxfam.

As Mark Harris mentioned, the Ebb Tide Adventures team completed the 100km trail in 28hrs 34min. The journey was far from easy but we completed the event with our full team of 4 (3 of us pushing through with injuries sustained during the walk) and we are extremely proud of our achievement. Only half the 750 teams finished the event with a full team of 4.

A huge thank you again to everyone involved with the event and our fundraising, up to today we have raised $16,752 for Oxfam (currently 2nd highest fundraising team).
Our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/504273049597769/ may lay dormant for a while, but it is not being deleted, as we may undertake the event again in the future.

What was a crazy idea six months ago came into beautiful fruition. A chance to do something personally challenging and do something to give back - be good citizens basically.... THANK YOU ALL!
