Hi Jay,
Matt and I dubbed the south end of North Murion 100lb Point after a few days we spent on the island in 2000. We saw a fish drifting in on the swell that we called a shark because of its width and the way its pecks were sticking out, turns out it wasn't a shark but a rather large GT. I have caught GTs all over the islands both north and south, shore based and from a boat, it is extremely diverse and awesome fishing.
If you have never fished there you will have to be either very switched on or make sure there is no swell. Some spots can be quite hairy to fish when the swells up. It can be pretty full on having to surf in the boat and tangle with a ballistic G.
The boys in the shop should be able to give you some pretty sound advice. Goodluck with it, I'm thinking of heading back in July myself.
Cheers,
Che
