Hey mate I was just wondering what s extreme rod you are using and how do you find it??? What size stella is it matched to

Hey Graig its a S-Extreme GT 76GTXX PE12 300g and boy is it every bit of PE12 capable but also surprisingly very giving for such a heavy rated cheap rod, wasn't very confident on the K's but so far so good..., its matched to a 18000SW Running JB100.

 I actually had a look at the 7'6 GT but felt for a pe8 rod it was little soft and slow for mainly poppers, the shops I looked at didn't have the GTXX which is what really wanted to have a play with. Have you had a chance to compare it to the GT???if so is it much stiffer in the tip?? Other than that are you happy with it.. I have the s extreme game which I am really happy with as a pe3-4 rod

Yeah mate it'll happily pop all day with ease compared to the PE8, it's defiantly worth it for the price, I had to order it direct form daiwa through a rep though, not many if any shops do stock it, so took a gamble and am pretty happy with it so far.
