Spool issues?

I would have thought a new, 2008 model reel would not have these issues and at RRP $450.00 is an expensive letdown.

As I said Bill, I had a similar spooling experience. It has a different lay due to the two-speed.

I'm not saying there isn't a problem with your reel but maybe you should try to use it and see IF IT IS IN FACT A PROBLEM.

You are more than welcome to call me if you have further issue as I will elevate the problem with Shimano or resolve it myself.

Got the 8000F and the line also lays nicely and mine came with spacers and small bottle of oil so I am kinda surprise at your set.
