Yep, the tip claw will snap.  This design (and variations upon it) is everywhere, and it uses stainless steel which is too soft for the job.

Mark, I personally hate the pliers but for the price, they work and are disposable.

Best by far is GP60 for me.

Me too. I now shy away from any pliers where they sell replacement tips!

GP60s are unbeatable.  And only about double the price of cheapos but will last way more than double the time!
