Ocean Active is happy to announce that we will be supplying GT gear on our boats in Southern Oman. We already provide all of the popping equipment on our boats in Musandam Northern Oman but due to the remote location and sheer size of the GTs in Southern Oman we have not provided any popping equipment in the passed and clients have brought their own equipment.
We will now be able to provide equipment on our boats if a client would like to come and fish with us that does not have the equipment, have the correct equipment or does not want to travel with all their own equipment. For Southern Oman with the harsh conditions and monster fish you can only use the best and strongest tackle. We now have Race Point 200s, Race Point 250s and all the rods are paired with Stella 18000s with 100lbs braid. Clients will have to buy their own lures which we will have available at our Southern Oman mini shop.
