Attaching assist hook to hook with no eye?

ahhh!
what i do for my assist cord is i use Polyester
instead of the usual kelvar its tougher and has better abrasion resistance

just hook the assist cord and bring it rite up to the spade/'eye'

super glue and whip!

has never failed me!
