I run a variety, however, to put max pressure on a fish in a boat that is extremely unforgivable - I used a 1.8m / 150lb Twisted section with 0.8m 400lb Shock Leader.

The terrain in Socotra is unforgivable, shallow reefs harsh terrain and a lot of bummy's, I personally use 130lb Hollow line attached to 220lb twisty with a 300lb bite leader :)
