Don't see enough CR from this side of the country so here are some vids from my last trip to Exmouth.

Tackle was 100lb tufline, saltiga 6000gt, carpenter wild violence, craftbait gt-2 (now my favourite - so easy to work). The second video has a bit of a blooper, as the line dug into the spool causing it to momentarily jam and almost tow the angler in.

Sorry no pics, as my camera is still sitting 20m under in the middle of Exmouth Gulf

Not this time. Who needs to hike to Peak when the Muirons are almost a fish every second cast! (at the right time, it was going off)

The reports are true, I've seen the photos, and if you ask the boys at bluewater exmouth at least one of them (starts with A) has pulled a 100lber (around the time I was there last year). I know of a few others with 40's to their credit.

As Luke said, a pity about the lack of a professional GT charter operation (except the very very expensive gameboats). Also, very sad to see a couple of GT frames or butchered heads when I was there... very sad.

P.s. Much better areas to pop than 100-lb point... thats just a name.

well I'm pretty flexible and should be able to take a week off no worries provided I get a reasonable amount of notice. Still need a boat though, and I don't think I'll have mine for atleast another 6 months.

I think it'll be a couple of months for me Kasey, i dont reckon S.W.M.B.O would be too happy if planned another in the forseeable. Having said that, i have half made plans for the Monte's in Sept. I reckon i should be able to squeeze a long weekender between now & then though.

Same here. Just thought I'd get the ball rolling.

I have 3 trips left planned for the year, one in 2 weeks, one in august, and then nothing until my big one in December.

Perhaps we can aim for something between that?
