Broome GT's
January 16, 2014, 05:03:06 PM
New to the site and thought I would post a couple GT photos. These were caught in Broome 40mile north of town. We had spring tides and heaps of bait pushed up around an off shore bommie. They were all around 18kg and a couple of bigger ones lost on the pe6 gear. Sharks were an absolute pain and stole heaps of gear! We had packs of Gts, macks, cobia, longtail tuna and all other soughts of things smashing the poppers and stickbaits. Cant remember the last time I was that exited about fishing, GT popping makes chasing sail fish kinda boring.

Nice work, Brian! Don't often hear reports coming out of Broome - great to see the GTs are firing. Sounds like a good alternative to sails! Looking forward to future reports. :)
If it ain't topwater... quite frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.
