ROCK EXPEDITIONS "FRONTIER REEFS"
Wild Reef Camps May 2014 Season Trip/sLouisiade Archipelago, Papua New Guinea
INFORMATION PACK: [email protected]I'm very proud to announce that we will be expanding our exploratory operations in the remote Louisades Archipelago of Papua New Guinea in 2014 and beyond. Working with the local community and tribal custodians, Rock Expeditions will be delivering a unique, catch & release focused eco-tourism for those willing to travel off the beaten path. We have found big GT, Dogtooth tuna and a flats fishery that could be the next "Seychelles".
Our grounds consist of some 100 square kilometres of pristine coral reefs, atolls, deep shoals, sand cays and flats - made possible by a number of amazing "base-camps" situated on some of the world's most remote beaches.
GT fishing is best enjoyed "Expeditioning" - so you will enjoy these trips close to nature sleeping on the sand, by the fire and under the stars. The remote nature of the location and skill-level required for the fishing methods dictates that anglers wishing to come should be of at least intermediate skill and well-traveled.
We have a couple spots available on April and May expeditions. Please contact us if you would like to be involved. We will announce a schedule for July to November expeditions in the coming months, including even further exploration throughout the area and the filming of "Project Pacific".
