Hi all i purchased this rod second hand and its the weave model. was wondering how the guides go with pe10 - fg knot - 200lb leader? They look like mabey on old style fuji guide alot different to the ones on my fcl 81ext. Im abit iffy on the tip guide as the insert looks funky (big around it with a small hole in the center) i wont be using it for awhile as im in the process of funding a new reel this is why i ask the question. any input would be well appreciated thanks!

I am completely naive in the realm of rod building, but some local surfcasters have their tip guides replaced so they can fit larger knots and swivels inside.
