carpenter coral viper help needed for reel choice

Have had my cv 79 40 with a stella 10k but sold that as I felt its not a true heavy lure/fish reel (my opinion). It balanced out very well but I liked my 18k reel n rf better basically because I felt  better with the bigger reel in hand. Would an 18k feel unbalanced with the coral viper? ??
