Popping in Malaysia

Hello everyone
I have a last minute trip getting planned to visit a friend in Singapore and we are toying with the idea of heading to Malaysia for some top-water action. can anyone recommend a guide or company for 1 or 2 days fishing

which part of malaysia are u looking at?

pekan (east side) 3-4hr drive from singapore has the occasional good sized GT.

but we mainly run PE 1.5 gear for light jigging there and PE 3 gear for popping.

most Gts there are 2-7kg with the occasional bigger 20kg and the rarer 40kg GTs.

Pulau Jarak is extremely far from Singapore but has slightly more and bigger GTs than pekan.
