Just had to check this wasn't just gt rods - my favorite is the BLC 83/35 - kingfish and stickbaiting , can work a gamma 75 up to  a 160H and drag fish out of most terrian .

Carpenter wankers

So what would you prefer Christoffer Hansen - I guess Carpenter rods are not to your liking?

Can't pick one rod, IMO all round rods are crap at both popping n stick baiting. If I use poppers it's cause the water is deep, dirty or rough n I use large poppers to raise fish. If water is clean n calm ill use stickbaits n you get better action from a stickbait specific rod. I use a fcl81mh and a patriot black mafia.  Carpenter do make some good rods, far too many soft ones but mainly just sick of hearing about them. There's lots of new awesome gear out there.

I'll always pick my BLC83/40 over anything else, excellent rod and I don't care what it is meant for, it suits me very well  8)

FCL 81MH is a very nice rod.

On the all round rod comment, it depends very much on the definition of an all round rod and the type of lures an angler likes to use. These things are very personal.

Eg, take Endless Passion 82/38. To one man it might be an excellent popper rod for 100 to 140 gram chuggers. The next guy might find it an excellent 160-190 gram stick bait rod.  It does both those jobs very well and is definitely not crap at either of them IMO! But rods are very personal things.

Could make a similar argument for FCL 81MH.

I am not surprised that most choices posted have been all rounders as Chris asked for one rod only.
