Carpenter Wild Violence 80XH thoughts?

Alex Gomez:
Afternoon Gents,

Anyone used this rod and is it any good?  Everyone seems to go on about the Monster Hunters but not the WV?  Is there something wrong with em??

Much appreciated!!

Nathan Tsao:
I LOVE my WV for deep drop and heavy stickbaits. As a popping rod, i think it kinda sucks because it has a soft tip. But again, such a perfect large stickbait rod...

Darren Cook:
 I broke a rod on a trip to Fiji and the wild violence was the only rod I had left to use.

It was able to work big poppers and I didn't try any stickbaits.

I'm reasonably fit and I found the rod bloody hard work over a 3 day period.
It's un-forgiving and you'd need to have some serious weight or steroids behind you to enjoy
using it for long periods.
I've never picked up a MH but I imagine its a far cry from the WV.

I second that, it is a stiff rod!

   Tight lines
