Ripple Fisher FINAL SPIRIT GT78XH.  Carpenter is overrated.  Patriot Design has great rods too but a bit heavy to cast all day.

I've never fished an MH80H.... so can't comment on it...
Of the rods I own or have fished, the one I enjoy the most fishing, is my old DJ83MH.... Poppers and stick baits in that comfortable size and weight all day for me... also casts like an absolute missile!!!!

It is the one rod I own I know I will NEVER sell....

At the end of the day it can come down to a personal choice.

What one may think is a great rod may not be so great to someone else.

Kaibutsu long cast. All rounder and as such gets nod over my wankers only?  Carpenter and Smith and Hots.
Pedestrian choice maybe but works for me.
