Lure bags

Hello all.
I'm looking for advice on life bags to store large poppers and stickbaits instead of the old fashioned tackle box. I'm after the ones you roll up like the ones people use for their game reels.
I'm not sure if I can put a link up to one I'm looking at?
Anyway keen to see wat people use for their storage of big lures.

Wife brought me a HPA popper roll for Christmas.

They are brilliant.

Heaps of storage for poppers and stickbaits plus room for pliers, gloves etc.

Rolls take up so much space and you can't readily see what you've got.

They only hold about 30 lures as well....way too few!! 

I use a cheap wire shelving unit and Ikea utensil hooks.

I have been enjoying using the Temple Reef Mesh Lure Bags

They are flat so packs easy not taking up much space and have zips so you can see all you lures and wash them inside the bag.

I use tupperware type boxes with clip down lids, they come in many different sizes & shapes.  they are tough, float, lightweight and waterproof.  You can see what you want to grab and it's amazing how many lures you can get in there with a bit of rattling about!

Funny you should say that Alex. That's what I have at the moment. It didn't seem right!

Not that clear but it will give you some idea.

For context, there's about 50 stickbaits on the upper tier and can take quite a few more

Hello Mark,

I personally use the HPA roll bags to store the lures when I travel ,its really nice but it fits more lures if you remove the hooks from the lures, and for the lures with hooks I use the Tupperware
in my recent trip I used the Tupperware to store the light tackle lures , 2 HPA roll bags
but I came with a nice way to store the rest of the popper and stickbaits because I had more than 80 to fly with .. 40 in both bags approx. the rest I used a towel with pieces of sponge between the lures and I rolled it the same way as the HPA its a very good thing to save the lures from the damages caused by luggage transportation

If you travel with a suitcase you can unroll the HPA around the inside of the case, great optical illusion compared to putting the rolled up HPA in your case.

I try to limit it to one HPA for a 5 days fishing........Hamad your the man 80

Trevor that's an awesome home storage set up.

Might have to look at doing something similar.

Only problem is I wouldn't be able to walk past so many shiny things without getting distracted and having to rearrange or have a play with them. If only fish were as attracted to all things shiny.

Hamad I like your style I was struggling to fill one HPA roll for a recent trip you must have an impressive collection.

The hpa is awesome! No one mention that you can open the whole side like a wallet. Velcro compartments
for traces n gloves.

another thumbs up for the hap popper-store, nice bit of kit. You can even rinse off your lures after use without having to take them out of the roll
