Shell Shaping Lure Z Mame
July 25, 2015, 01:12:39 AM
Hi,
I have just brought this odd lure 2nd handed and I am just wondering what is the correct way to work it. It certainly doesn't look like a popper nor a stickbait.
Anyone has any experience with it?
cheers,
Thomas

It's simple - cast it out and reel it in. You want retrieve speed to be just enough for the blade at the back to be spinning

Thanks a lot Brandon.
So I guess it works well in calm and shallow condition, right?
cheers,
Thomas

Clearly, those would be the times when you get maximum visibility anf effectiveness of the flashing blade. The lure works reasonably, Thomas but it really isn't anything fantastic. To me, it is more a novelty and a pretty cute one at that.

True that. All I want is to catch a GT with it regardless size and then it will be hung on the wall.
