currently I have 2 rods for GT
one is the temple reef ronin PE 6-8 paired with Stella 14000 filled with PE8 this is my stick bait rod up to 180grams
the 2nd one is hots gipang 89xh ( its a stick bait rod up to 230 grams as I recall ) but I use it for poppers up to 190 grams and it works fine with stella 18000 and PE 10
I ordered the carpenter KLL EP 82/42R-P1 and it will arrive in the next couple of weeks it will be my heavy stickbait rod with stella 18000 PE 10 ill use that specially for southern oman and the ronin for places like Saudi and Andaman
currently im looking for a more dedicated popping rod I was thinking of Monsterhunter 80 H but its quite headache to find one ... it will be paired with stella 18000 PE10
what do you think about my rods ? cause I normally fish either in Oman or Andaman ... but Saudi has a good potential ...large GTs and napoleon and dogtooth so it will be interesting to try it there ad I don't want to be underarmed
