sydney overhead jigging setup
May 25, 2015, 11:33:09 PM
hi team
Looking to add a overhead jigging setup to the kit.
Not so familiar with the overhead setups or where to buy but have had a look at the JM stuff.
Currently looking at the pe5n on the JM falling ML.
Mainly jig for sydney Kings in 60-120m with 200 -300g jigs...however do do some trips now and then where bigger fish are encounted
should I get the pe4 reel instead?...and are there other rods I should be looking at?
Thanks in advance
Mike

Jigging Sydney on requires 100-200 gram rod max. Even all mark , fight club which is deepest you will jig for kings in Sydney .
Pe4 is perfect . Will hold 400 of pe4 . Good luck with purchase

Yeah I was kind of leaning that way,,,,today I ordered jmpe4 reel with fallings special L rod.
My local shop stocks it,,,so thought I couldn't go too far wrong with the JM stuff
Cheers
M
I'll let u know how I go,,,,as we generally consider a 10kg king a good one round here🐬

I would agree PE4 should be fine.
