Luke - no need, I can respond to this.

The answer is no, Jay - I've tried already to fit the fisherman handle onto my 18000s without success. The new 08 SW Stellas have a shorter shaft for the knob than the pre 08 models. The only optional knob at the moment is one marketed by Shimano which is the carbon fbre one which comes with the smaller (below 10000) model. I really don't understand why Shimano did not simply produce the whole range with the carbon fibre knob.

Luke - is there a reason for this? I'm not going to get a carbon fibre knob if the reason why is that the knob isn't considered strong enough by Shimano for the big models.

Are these the round power knobs like one sees on saltigas, accurates etc? If so, who makes these to fit stellas? I have 3 FA's (8000, 10000 and 20000) I was thinking of trying to find such a handle for.

Scott, there are a number of handles that will fit the Stella FAs. I use the Fisherman ones myself but there are quite a few on the market.
