I receved one menssage that the war situation in mainlandy Yemen is calm down and not affect the Island.Apart that now there is direct flight from Dubai.

I have dream to get there to fishing the monsters Gts

Hi Fabio,

The Yemenia airlines flights no longer operate from Dubai to Socotra, further more as per the tour guide i used on Socotra island, there are no civilian flights to Socotra, only military flights across from Sana'a.

Great pity unfortunately  :(

It will open again one day and the resident GT population will be of Jurassic proportions in size.

No fishing pressure it like a marine sanctuary locals only Target Shark and Mackerel.
