Tipping on Charters

I have a trip to Marion Reef booked with Nomad at the end of this month.

What is the norm for tipping on these trips? 

Who should I tip and how much do I budget?

you could just give there rod and reel back at the end .Going on same trip next year and wasnt planing on tipping i thought that was just a yank thing.

George, tipping is not customary in Australia however, if you want to i am sure any charter operator would appreciate it - something like Nomad - i may give a couple hundred bucks if it was awesome - but each to their own

Remember someone once told me that 10pct is a good guide... if its the case of Nomad, 10pct would have taken my arms.

George - as Luke advised, tipping is not customary here but if you have an exceptional trip with exceptional service, then you should feel free to do so. The difference here is that it is given to show appreciation for exceptional service, not a given thing like in the USA where it is expected even for crap service.
