tenryu draggo 76

Chuen Fan:
anyone played with that rod b4? what r your thoughts on it? rated pe5-8, 80-170g lures and max drag of 12 kg.. looking at it as a new stickbait/pencil popping rod.

Sachin Chaudhry:
I have the Draggo 86 which has a PE 8 and 200g rating but if anything it felt softer than my Saltiga GT86. Perhaps something like a Kaibutsu Pencil Instrument or Long Cast may be in order. There are offerings by Smith, Carpenter etc. so if cost does not bother you......

Chuen Fan:
thanks scahin, i have bought the rod sight unseen, so hopefully it will turn out to be something i can use with pencil's and stickbaits. wife has ordered me a ripple fisher custom for my b/day. so hopefully it will arrive in the 6 months or so that she was told it would take. have no idea where she's getting it from, but i can't complain, how many wives splash out big on a fishing rod for their husbands????  ;D ;D ;D
