Check out this monster taken from Africa...
Although this is a great capture and I applaud the angler for his efforts, even if the GT was dead which is extremely unfortunate - this way of holding a GT causes irreversible stress to the spine and internal organs.
Please don't hold your GT's this way!
PEACE
Luke

Luke, Completely agree, if it was to be eaten
well each to their own, but if expected to be be released....it's a real shame to see a breeder like that damaged.
I can't recall if anything has been put on the forum regarding proper boating, handling and release techniques.
Something with pictures might be good if you had time and it has not already be done.
Cheers
Andy

Luke/Andy,
I agree...top effort, though the photo is fodder for the 'green movement'!
Cradle them, put em in a sling, support their weight.
I can only wonder what the implosion sounded like when it hit the popper in those dead calm conditions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brandon,
I really do not think you want to know what Aaron does behind closed doors.
Some of the things i have heard really shocked me, i never thought these things were possible.
PS: Sorry Aaron but it had to come out some day. You can't hide all the time
