Topwater Caranx Ignobilis: Giant Trevally (GT) > Tackle & Techniques
There can be only one!
Brandon Khoo:
Aaron was being sensible - the Black Mafia would break a normal man in half and that's not even getting to that ridiculous Fire Vortex. The rating on the Fire Vortex should be PE20!

Aaron Concord:
Brandon,
Yep...I wanted something sensible!
The Black Diamond has as much poke as the SP78UHL though has a bit more mid flex so it feels very nice when loaded up....the Black Mafia & Fire 'Spine Screamer' Vortex is too much for my battered, spine-fused back!
Bun,
I had a cold shower...all is good!
Brandon Khoo:
I am waiting to hear a report of some poor unsuspecting GT fisherman who gets broken in half by one of those Patriot PE12 rods.
It won't be Gordon - he can actualy hold on to one. It'll be some normal person.
Kenny Tan:
My latest and hopefully my last ;D
Rod: PD Diamond 77
Reel: Saltiga Dogfight 6500
Line: SMP or Castman (PE 8)
Rod: PD Platinum 84
Reel: Saltiga Z6000GT
Line: SMP or Castman (PE 6)
Brandon Khoo:
it'll never be the last! I remember when the first Shimano Calcutta baitcaster came out and I thought I'd never want or need another baitcaster. Well, that love affair lasted as long as it too Shimano to release the Conquest ::)
