An update on this

The first two groups for Shoalwater 2008 have already been filled so if you were thinking of coming in the first week, it's a bit too late now   :'(

There are still vacancies for the third week from 14 - 20 February.

Where is shoalwater bay & where is the nearest airport?

Brandon Khoo:
Shoalwater Bay is between Rockhampton and mackay off the central Queensland coast. The nearest airports are Mackay and Rockhampton but the floatplane flies out from Hamilton Island. By next year, the plane may fly out from Rockhampton as well.

 I'm looking on my chartplotter and i can't seem to find a place called shoalwaterbay, how far off shore is it?
