Used one once but didnt like it,only a light popper stick..

I got one Daiwa MM 8ft3.
The top ring guide is quite small compare with other rod, it difficult to equip with light popper, it most made wind knot in ring guide.

Big poppers up to 100gr is comfortable when cast.
that all my opinion and other thing of this rod is quite good.

These stick arent too stiff, i would rather use 75-90 swimmer-pencil popper  or 60-80 gr chugger installed with  pe 6 rating and 100 lbs leader, I have tried to use 125 -150 gr popper, and unable to cast a long distance.

Andrew Poulos:
I've cast up to 125 gram metals at most and it was ok. It has plenty of grunt when hooked up but I wouldnt be casting big heavy lures on it and trying to work them back. You get what you pay for and at under $400 by a fair bit its pretty good,especially if you are rock fishing.
