Title: Big Canyon Yellowfin's
Post by: John Flores on October 11, 2011, 12:38:33 AM
Rich,John,Ray,Tom and myself arrived @ the Hudson Canyon...  [100 mile's off New Jersey]
only to find cold green water...Capt Rich didn't like what he saw and kept going East until he found warmer water.

At around 11pm we got are first shot @ some Longfin's...it's been many year's for me since i caught Longfin's, it brought back lot's of memories!

Then around 1:30am the screen lit up again and the bite was on fire...3 drop's and 3 hookup's for me...the rest of the guy's also were hooking up, just about any jig worked...but the hot jig for me was the CB One Semi long.

Some gear used:

Temple Reef, R11, R13 Jigger
Smith AMJ 52H
Temple Reef 200SH
Varivas PE 8

CB One C1,Semi Long, CB One C1
GL Atelier Jig
