Would like to know if any one has used YGK NITLON PE10 BRAID for popping iam thinking of putting it on my stella 18000 what is every bodys opinions on this line how dose it compare to other ygk braids for popping or even tuf line xp i have used tuf line alot and like it but thought il try something else ?

I looked at this as an option and was told that they had problems with batches of it being returned due to poor strength - ie QC was not up to scratch. Note I didn't test any so that is based on second hand information from a mate that works in a tackle store.

Travis how long ago was it when you got told that was it only recent? thanks for reply

Tested the line today on a set of scales and broke at 34kg broke half way up a 2m lenght of the braid should it be breaking at that or should it be more i pulled on it slow and thats all i could get 100lb line breaking closer to 80lb?

Why don't you send some samples to this guy? Not sure if his hw extends to PE10 though!

I have sent a number of line samples (braid and mono) to Paul. He provides a great free service and is happy to give lots of advice too. I also purchased his bimini twist tool which forms fabulous short biminis, but best used for PE 6 and less. A longer tool is needed for the heavier line classes. Matt
