G'day,

Anyone know of any Sydney based charters that chase tuna and could potentially get me on to some surface action out at the shelf?

Alex I have not fished for tuna other than Sydney. A few guys like ambition ,wahoo,alliehunter all chase tuna and do quite well but the seem to troll around more of times than just sight popping . I have done a few good hardcore season chasing these things and have only ever had 2-3 times  where stick baits are taken . I suggest you take out your own block of pillies when fishing with these guys and once fish are Located on troll then start dumping pillies over to raise the fish . Once and if you can raise fish then pull out your stick boat rod.
