Title: Thoughts on Big Tuna 68
Post by: Courtland Babcock on November 07, 2014, 07:44:45 AM
I need a rod for 120-180G poppers. I do not like long rods. I have a bad shoulder and sometimes even find myself casting with my jigging rods just to save the pain once hooked up. This will be primarily for 1 or 2 GT trips per year and BFT in North Carolina. I would say that I am an above average caster so I don't feel the length will hurt me on distance. Likely looking to pair with 10K Stella with 16k spool or 18k Stella. Fishing PE8/JB #100 stepped to #130 for a few yards plus a Twisted leader.

I've watched the videos and read the indo I can find on the Big Tuna 68, looks promising for my situation. Anyone have any real world experience to offer me?
