Title: Opinions on Jerry Brown Line
Post by: Alex Jordan on September 10, 2009, 01:03:17 AM
I have been using Power Pro and Suffix for eons - want to make the move across to JB hollow core because of the splicing BUT I also want to drop down to the JB Solid core for light lure fishing in the 20lb BS region - anybody vouch for JB HC and Solid lines? castability etc?
Thanks!

Alex, you can buy and use JB with confidence. It's excellent line in both the hollow and solid spectra.

Whats the benefit of Hollow over solid? What do you guys use for popping? Is 100lb PE8 in that stuff? Thanks.

hi Joe - the main benefit is that you can splice a loop that is pretty much seamless unless a bimimi double.

PE is a measurement used only for Japanese lines.
