Hi guys, curiosity here, who has used a two speed reel that wasa suitable for jigging. did you like it? Would you buy one? The theory sounds quite good, if the ratio's were favourable.

Just to mention a couple.

Having owned a two-speed Avet SX MC, I'd recommend against using one for a jigger. Its now an 8kg mono troller, and it does the job ok there. The AR is a bit gappy. I never really found much use for the two-speed feature either so IMHO just KISS and stay single speed.
