Title: SAIL FISH ON JIG
Post by: Andrew Woodley-Page on June 18, 2007, 08:58:41 PM
I thought this may be of interest, the Taiwan boys really have an exciting fishery.  For the technically minded, the sail was captured using a Jigging Master 400g rod and Progear Oceanus 30 reel. Enjoy.

you do come upon the odd marlin and sailie being taken on jigs although they are by no means common. There have been a couple of marlin taken off SE Queensland on jigs in the past year. None of these were being targeted so they're a chance capture.
