Title: Saltiga Z4500H Dimensions
Post by: Trev Willis on November 08, 2007, 11:45:43 AM
I am getting a new rod built and the rod builder has asked for the dimensions of the reel that I'm going  to use with it. I'm planning on a Saltiga Z4500H but haven't brought it yet. Can anyone help out?

This is what he is asking for:

"Also, for no additional charge we can configure the guides to precisely match your excellent reel choice.  To do this we need three measurements from you:  (1) the exterior diameter of the spool lip; [for the next two measurements please place the reel foot on a flat surface]  (2) the distance from the reel spindle or center of the spool to the surface; and, (3) with the bail closed and the line roller as close to the foot as it can be the distance from the center of the groove on the line roller to the surface".

Thanks
Trev
