Title: Jigging rod suggestion
Post by: Jonathan Yeh on August 12, 2011, 01:10:25 AM
After couple of seasons of jigging. I really found myself enjoy jigging from the plate( long stroke) more than under arm jigging ( short stroke). what do you recommend  a decent PE6-10 500g rod that will suit this jigging style.. thanks

Hi Jonathan,

Probably need a few more details than what you have provided mate.

1. Whats your budget?
2. Where do you fish?
3. Assuming kingies, but what is your primary target?
4. A bit about yourself (i.e. No point getting a Xzoga Taka SA 500 if you weigh 60kg as you would gett pulled out of the boat on a decent fish).
5. Do you have a preference on brand?

etc..................

Cheers,

Chris
