Title: JM Evo Titanium 300B or Enchanter Special - opinions?
Post by: Dan Konig on February 06, 2013, 01:48:34 PM
Has anybody fished a JM Evo Titanium 300B?

I am looking for something to use for Dogtooth in Vanuatu (mostly sub 30kg I expect but possibility of a bigger one) and not sure if this rod has enough backbone.

I've been looking at the 350gr model also but concerned this won't be any good with the lighter jigs that I'll use (down to about 200gr). So if the 300 has enough backbone I'm inclined to go for that.

Also looking at the new Enchanter Special if anyone has any experience with that. I'll be fishing heavy PE6 and aiming to push that close to the limits.

Cheers

Dan
