Hi all
I use Owner treble hook safety caps to cover the trebles of my poppers/stickbaits
I use LL size(green), and it fits ST76 4/0 nicely, not sure about 5/0
I got a pre-rigged Fisherman Big mouth 170 rigged with two big trebles(not sure of brand) that didn't fit the biggest LL sized Owner cover,
Any recommendations?
Also I would like to confirm if the 1.5L sized caps(blue) fits ST76 & ST66 in 3/0 sizes
Thanks in advance
Mahmoud

Hi Mahmoud,
I to use Owner hook covers on all my per-rigged lures.
I can confirm that the blue 1.5L cover fits both the ST66N & ST76N in 3/0 perfectly as I just checked my ones.
I can also say that the green LL ones fit the 5/0 ST76N, but the points protrude a little past the edge of the cap.
The Owner LL green hook covers are the largest on the market that I know of, so I don't have an answer for the larger trebles that you have, other than making something up out of tubing or a dense foam.
Cheers,
Ian

Don't think I would ever buy any but those hook covers are a VERY smart piece of design!

Thanks Brandon, though expensive, might be worth a try, or some improvising might work as well
Mark, they really are smart
